Malik Al'Ashtar (arabic: مالك الأشتر)
Al-Ashtar in Arabic means cut, torn or ripped. Malik (r) earned the title of "Al-Ashtar" from a battle scar he received on his lower eyelid during the Battle of Yarmouk.
He (r) was ALI (a)'s best general and childhood friend, commander-in-chief of ALI (a)'s army & was titled "Fearless Tiger".
I say, He was MALIK but the Love of God made him ASHTAR (r).
